Catalog and point of sale
Ziggy Links
One app that runs a jewelry studio's customer catalog and its staff point of sale, with live inventory that can't be oversold.

Background
A welding-jewelry studio in Accra makes chains and charms to order, on site. Everything ran on paper.
The problem
Sales were tallied by hand, chain stock was tracked by guesswork, there was no online catalog, and nothing stopped two staff selling the last of a spool at the same time.
What we built
One app with two faces. Customers browse a catalog of chains, materials and charms; staff build a sale from the same data, with stock checked live and deducted atomically so a spool is never oversold across devices. Inventory, low-stock alerts, an audit log of every sale and change, and a small CMS for the catalog all live in the same admin. It installs as an app and keeps working offline.
How it works
- 1
Staff open the till, pick a chain and a piece type, and a length if it's a necklace.
- 2
Stock is checked live and anything that would overdraw is disabled, so a sale can only include what is actually there.
- 3
On confirm, a server-side function deducts the spool or charm atomically, so the same stock can't be sold twice from two devices at once.
- 4
Every sale and stock change is written to an audit log, and every device updates in real time.
- 5
The customer catalog and the studio's content are edited from the same admin.
